“Well, the way I see it,” he answered, “there could only be three ways this happened. Either this window was already broken when the murderer came in, the murderer broke it himself, or it just broke for no reason.”

“That would SEEM like the most likely scenario…” he said slowly, “…but let’s look at the clues.”

Sound familiar? It should. This process of elimination is used all of the time to solve problems. Usually crimes, like the one mentioned above. But today I want to try to apply this method into proving God created the universe.

As hard as this is to believe, there are, to my knowledge, only three ways the universe could’ve come into existence, and they actually are similar to the possibilities of the broken window in my story. Either #1: The universe is eternal, and has always existed and will forever exist, #2: The universe popped into existence from nothing, or #3: The universe was created.

Not only that, but everything in the universe is wearing down, meaning that everything will eventually end. The universe had a starting point, and it will have a finishing point. People seem to have figured out how insane this idea sounds, however, and have modified. Instead of everything being CREATED by this explosion, the “Big Bang”, we’re now being told that everything in the universe was, at one point, a 25-pound ball of matter that expanded in the Big Bang.

Do you see it? Our society refuses God so much that they believe in anything that they can, as long as God isn’t a part of it.

The Big Bang is ridiculous scientifically. Atheists laugh at Christians for believing in God, something that can break scientific laws. And yet THEY believe in an event that breaks at least two!
